We All Die by Cat Power
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From 'Myra Lee' (1996). I'm basing the main riff here off of a video that I saw of her
playing this live, and it sounds spot-on to me, but I could always be wrong. The other
riff which is played on top of this in the beginning build-up of the song was tabbed by
ear, as was the short bridge near the end, and those I'm not so sure about but they're at
least somewhat close. The only tricky part to this song is the main riff: you'll use your
pinky and ring finger at first on the A and D strings, and then, while leaving them
there, you'll use your middle finger once on the low E string on the 4th fret, and then your
index finger for the complete G power chord (3/5/5), and then you'll have to stretch your
index finger down to the 2nd fret on the last chord there. So, all in all, not that
hard, just that last stretch. There are occasional note plucks in there that I didn't bother
tabbing. Comment if you have any suggestions/corrections. Play with a little distortion.

"\" = slide down

(Play Main Riff x 5 for intro, then Riff 2 comes in on top of that, then repeat Main
Riff only until bridge comes in)
Here you go, sayin' she's ill
Here you go, marriage and kids
A drug addiction
All the lies aside,
I believe I am the luckiest person alive
Hell, we all die sometimes
Hell, we all try somewhere
Money always sees
Money always draws the lines
Hope you can see through the beggars and the pleaders
Do you happen to know where I am from?
I'm lost in this, so far from home
Far from home
Do you happen to know where I am from?
I'm lost, far from mom
All the lies aside,
I believe I am the luckiest person alive
Hell, we all die sometimes
Hell, we all try somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere

(Resume Main Riff after the bridge)
Stand on my feet so I can see yours
Standing on my hands
I found my way home standing on my head
