VERSES
Notes: The Chord progression is A Bm7 C#m7 . Throughout the verses and the chorus,
there are gaps to fill, do little licks to fill the space and look super cool. I havent
out all of Jeff's little licks because half the fun is improvising them. Also, with the
use different positions and inversions to set up different licks. Here are some examples:
Chords and fills for A:
(finger A w/ your index barring, and use your pinky and ring finger for theallowing the chord to continue ringing)e|--------------------------|--5---5h7p5-------------------|---0----|B|-2---2h3p2----------------|--5---------5h7p5-------------|---5----|G|-2----------2h4p2---------|--6----------------6h7p6------|---6----|D|-2-----------------2h4p2--|--7---------------------------|---7----|A|-0------------------------|--0---------------------------|---0----|E|--------------------------|------------------------------|--------|
(cut the chord from ringing and pick the notes, while hitting other muted strings withpick for a slightly funkier sound)e|-----------------------------------------|B|-2---------------------------------------|G|-2---------2--4--2-----------------------|D|-2----2/4-----------4---2----------------|A|-0---(0)---------------------------------|E|-----------------------------------------|
Some ideas for Bm7
(let the chord ring and use your ring finger for the hammer-ons-and-pull-offs)e|--2----------------------------------|-2-------------------------|B|--3----------------------------------|-3--3h5p3------------------|G|--2---2h4p2--------------------------|-2--------2h4p2------------|D|--4----------2-h-4--4-p-2------------|-4-------------2h4p2-------|A|--2------------------------2-/-4--4--|-2--------------------2/4--|E|-------------------------------------|---------------------------|
Or these:
(for these, hit some extra strings or strum the whole chord throughout when you do the
ons, for an extra chunky feel)
e|-----7------------------------------|B|-----7------------------------------|G|-----7----7--9----------------------|D|-----7----------9---7---------------|A|-----9----------------7--9--7-------|E|-----7------------------------------|

And for C#m7, use the same licks as for the Bm7, just the chord shapes are shifted up
frets. To End each chord progression, i ussualy use an octave part, shown below, to go
to the starting A chord. Like this:
A Bm7

CHORUS
Same chord progression as the verses, but with a different ending and some other
as follows: (note:the first chorus has a different entrance than the other ones. Instead
the
chord, it uses the octave part from the intro (which is sandwiched between the $$$ signs
the intro tab part above) then goes to the Bm7 chord and continues normally)

FIRST BRIDGE
After the first chorus, there is a mini bridge part before the second verse begins. This
not be the perfect tab of it, but it's damn close. Suggestions/comments are of course welcomed.
Notes:
% strum some muted strings along with the actual notes
& Hold the bar shape and finger notes with ring finger, letting all the notes sustain
ring)

SECOND BRIDGE
After the second verse, there is another, less complicated bridge going into the third
final verse. I am ashamed to admitt, I wasn't too taken with it. By which I mean it's
but instead of learning it, I just made up my own thing, which is below. Sorry! It's not
hard though if you want to learn it yourself, the chord shapes in this tab are a great
to start.

Lyrics:
They say everything can be replaced
Yet every distance is not near
So i remember every face
Of every man who put me here
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released
They say every man needs protection
They say every man must fall
Yet i swear i see my reflection
Some place so high above this wall
Standing next to me in this lonely crowd,
Is a man who swears he's not to blame.
All day long I hear him shout so loud
Crying out that he was framed
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released.
