John Mayer – On The Way Home chords
Chords:
John Mayer - On the way home Note: Hello! So, I heard this song yesterday during a 24 hour stream on John Mayer website and I couldn't resist to transcribe it! Such a beautiful song and I'm so excited for his upcoming album! It's almost impossible to write down everything that is happening in the song, so I've stuck with the chords, and the guitar intro. There aren't many chords but during verse2 the song fills up with alot of notes that seems (to me) to be "walking around" the D chord. I've written down some variations in the Chords section, tough I'm just going to write down the same chord progression as in the other verses. You are more than welcome to correct my chord names. I feel like I have no idea what im doing. The Bridge is possibly the hardest one to get a grip on. Play around with the differentD-chord variations and listen how it sounds. The intro guitar is quite fast paced and with alot of country hammers and pulloffs. Im going to try to be as accurate as I possibly can. Other than that I wish you the best! Love.
