Song :Haul away
from "Privateering" album(2012), Mark Knopfler
Here is the detail of the solo part (that I tabbed for guitar) wich is originally played
with a flute ( ??? I guess...), as you can listen here :

Lyrics :
It was a windless night
when you left the ship
You never were
a steady bold one
I gave (you) my hand
Ah but you did slip
I'm a living man
and you're a cold one
so haul away
haul away from here
My love's as fair
as a girl can be
My wedding ring
is a heavy gold one
Now you lay alone
in the deep dark sea
I'm a living man
and you're a cold one
so haul away
haul away for home
The morning brings
Lord a fresh young breeze
to fill our sails
to end the doldrums
Our lucky ship
speeds across the sea
I'm a living man
and you're a cold one
so haul away
haul away for home
I made this myself so it may not be 100% exact, but I believe it's close, and it sounds nice.
> means here : pull over and/or hammer on
/ means slide
But you don't have to play it the exact way I wrote it...
Anyway, it's a beautiful song, as always with Mr Knopfler...!
Hope you'll enjoy this one as much as me !
