Neil Young – My My Hey Hey Live tab

My my, Hey hey (Neil Young Live performed on Rust Never Sleeps and Live Rust 1978)

Transcribed by Soenen Martijn (martijnsoenen@hotmail.com) 13:45 26/01/2001

NOTES: This is a quite good transcription of the song (a tribute to Johny Rotten)
I guess, allthough I think I made some very little mistakes. If you can correct
them, please mail me. Neil plays this song tuning his guitar to the dropped D
tuning (DGCFAD) but if you play it in standard tuning as I do it will work out
as well. I have put the song in tab but at the bottom of this page you can see
it as well with ordinary chords. Sometimes less is more.

CHORDS used in this song:

        DGCFAD DGCFAD

Am7	x02010 Em x22000
G 320003 Em7 x22030
Fmaj7 xx3210 Am x02210
C x32010 F 133211

You can play the intro in three different ways but I guess the first is the most accurate.
You can use the others if you think the first is too difficult :)

It's better to burn out Than to fade away And once you're gone you can never come back It's better to burn out than it is to rust There's more to the picture Than meets the eye (or: rust never sleeps)
