note: i've heard this song both done both "unplugged",
and the studio version(which i prefer); album version has great electric
guitars, distortion, feedback, and that headache-invoking "wall of sound"
that i personally find so relaxing.
so this is basically just the rhythm guitar part, but it sounds great
when you play along with the cd.
of course, any feedback(no pun intended), suggestions, corrections,
and dinner invitations are welcome.

Blue Sky
By Patty Griffin and Jay Joyce
(barre chords)G A G A G A
G A G A
The farther I come the farther I fall
G A G A
Whatever I knew it was nothing at all
G A G A
Nothing at all, just making me small
G A
Smaller and smaller
G A
I fall back
G A G A
Sooner or later with a view from the ground
G A G A
Chasing the race and the races run you down
G A G A
Sooner or later with a view from the ground
G A
And a tear in your eye
G A D
You say baby why can?t we fly
A G
Into the blue sky
A D
High
A G A G A G A
Into the blue sky
G A
Be my singing lesson
G A
Be my song
G A
When I tell you I'm falling
G A
You tell me I'm strong
G A
You say trees have grown tall
G A
birds have flown high
G A
Higher and higher
G A
Goodbye goodbye goodbye
G A
I'll fly over a rainbow
G A
I'll be sun kissed
G A G A
Sail around the planet Venus
G A
And send a long letter
G A
Way back home
G A
That says all that I know
G A D A G
All that I know is the blue sky
A D A G A
High in the blue sky
(elect. guitar solo)
G A G A G A G A G A G A G A G A
D A G A D
In the blue sky
A G A G A
The blue Sky....
G A G A
The farther I come the farther I fall
G A G A
Whatever I knew it was nothing at all
G A G A
Trees have grown tall, birds have flown high
G A
Higher and higher
G A G A G A G A (KEEP GOING & FADE)
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.....
