Sherwood – Only Song chords
Chords:
So I've had this song on my i pod for years but just recently listened to it again Its been on repeat one for the last 48 hours lol i was upset there didn't seem to be any actually good tabs of the entire song and i feel like doing my biology reading so i ended up doing this instead. I do not pretend to be good at music nor am i claiming by posting this that i am - ive listened to this song so much to the point where i was actually able to figure it out Don't butcher it with mean or rude comments - i don't have an account with 911tabs, won't see them and definitely won't care If you think its that bad - write your own tab and ill be glad to learn it if it sounds better positive comments appreciated Tuning: Standard Strumming s rather tricky but not terribly hard to figure out Intro All of the other intros on the site seem to be perfectly fine. just keep in mind that are 2 guitars playing this song - you will not be able to make every sound the recording Deal with it Also when playing the intro make sure to accent the note into C# then slide into the D - the way it was written and it sounds wayy better in my opinonDAnd I'm okD/BSeems I just needed a breakEm/DSat down but now I'm up againA7And finding out I'm aloneDMy friends left me behindD/BAnd into another townEm/DWhere this boy is not aroundA7And I don't blame themI'd do the same(B) (A) G-F#m7And now I'm alone againF#m7 A D GF#m7 So I'll sing along to the on ly song I've ever knownF#m7 A D G And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh ohThose days are gone but the nights roll on taking their place So I'm singing it out to the lonely onesFiller - One BarD-A-B-G <-----each of these is a quarter noteD D/BHey, let's write the story againEm/DWhere I'm your lover and best friendA7 DPack our backs and we'll leave this old ghost town behindD/BAnd into another townEm/DWhere this boy is not aroundAHe made the mistake of leaving you(B) (A) G - F#m7That was mistake number tenF#m7 So I'll sing along to the only song I've ever knownA D G And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh ohF#m7 A D G Those days are gone but the nights roll on taking their placeA D G So I'm singing it out to the lonely onesSOLO I play the solo without ever leaving bottom 3 strings just because it sounds higher that way - but all of the other solos on this site seem perfectly fine and its just a matter which you memorize or figure out first - its fairly simple so im not going to bother tabbing it outD(hold) D/B(hold)Hey, let's write the story againEm/D(hold)Where I'm your lover and best friendSame as all the other verses So I'll sing along to the only song I've ever known And I'll sing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh Those days are gone but the nights roll on taking their place So I'm singing it out to the lonely ones, oh oh oh Oh oh oh
