Slade – Everyday chords
Chords:
This is my first time submitting a song, and probably about the 4th time transcribing a song. It's a pretty easy song to play and there are a few ways you can go about it.It's in E minor and the chords used are as follows: Em D C C7 B A Ge|------------------------------------------------------| B|------------------------------------------------------|G|--------------------------9---------------------------|D|--9-----7-----3-----------8------4--------------------|A|--7-----5-----5-or-10-----10-----2-or-9------7-----5--|E|--------------------8-----8-----------7------5-----3--|As you can see there are a few ways you can play these chords. You can even use open chords if you like, but this is how I play the song. Sometimes switching it up a bit. Do whatever works best for you. This is how I play the intro, listen to the song for timing: Em / / / D / / / C B A G / / ^ Here you can quickly slide the chord up to B to try and replicate that little thing they do on the piano. Rest of the song: Verse 1G DEveryday when I'm awayEm D CI'm thinking of youG D The D chord on every second line Everyone can carry on doesn't seem to be played in theEm D C next verse.
