Tame Impala - Bold Arrow of Time
from their unreleased demos
This is the demo version of a song that would eventually end up on Innerspeaker.
There are some fairly big differences in both structure and lyrics between the two
versions, so if you are looking for the Innerspeaker version then search "The Bold
Arrow of Time" (I've tabbed it out). Don't forget to add "The" for the Innerspeaker
version, because the demo version doesn't have "The" in the title.
Intro:
The bends in the main riff are quarter step bends, which is basically bending to
halfway between the two notes, which are G and G# in this instance. It's used a lot
in blues playing (listen to the main riff to Spoonful by Cream to get a good
example). The bend is only slight, so don't over-think it.
